Academic Dual Credit
If you are interested in earning college credit at the same time as high school credit, dual credit might be for you. Dr. R.W. Goines Stem Academy offers dual credit opportunities through Tarrant County Community College starting in the 8th grade. The following courses Economics, English IV, Psychology, Sociology, US Government, US History are some of the classes offered. As early as the 8th grade, scholars have the opportunity to start working toward the completion of an Associate’s Degree on the secondary education level. Over 56 % of all Dr. R.W. Goines Stem Academy scholars pass multiple portions of the TSI on their first attempts.
